Would have been good if you'd have posted a map so when I'm back down that way I can actively avoid them/destroy them.

Apple blueprints warranty Big Brother

Joel
Stop

How's this any different?

Plenty of electrical devices have stickers that say "warranty void if seal is broken". Why is it worse if Apple do this with some sensors rather than stickers?

LogMeIn

It's a shame that LogMeIn is such a rip off, when you have to pay subscription aswell (unless you just use a free account I guess). I use LogMeIn to access my home pc from work and vise-versa, but why would I download this for 30 bucks when I could just us VNC for free?

Apple patents OS X Dock

Joel
Happy

Those other docks?

I don't think Apple will worry about those other docks that are available, mainly because they're marketed as offering the Apple experience on a PC or whatever, which, you know if people want to destroy window's GUI with a pretty Mac UI.. wouldn't that make Apple happy?

Strange that, isn't it. They've "Released" it, and yet it's still a limited beta version which I can't even download.

You're journalists, tell me why, don't just write stuff I already saw on the BBC iPlayer site :(

Ebuyer

I also had trouble with Ebuyer and Google Checkout's £10 off deal. However It wasn't anything to do with car rejection, simple that Ebuyer failed to display the terms and conditions before I sent my hard earned cash, and so didn't find out until after that the deal did not include postage.

£10 on delivery wasted. Thanks Ebuyer.

RE: Alan

Joel, you said "How so? Was he doing an experiment or something? Did he wrap himself up? And surely the wife would have smelled it?"

Just to put you in the picture, "mummified" doesn't actually mean wrapped in bandages lol.

--------

I realise that :P, what I'm saying is, if he clambered up into his roof with a bottle of schnaps, how on earth did he become mummified? Garage roofs are generally damp places are they not? Maybe he covered himself in soil or something.
