let's list the problems i've had:
imac had firmware/screen fuck up - my fault for trying to upgrade to OSX without upgrading the firmware first.
powerbook power supply broken - the dog knocked it off the sofa onto the wood floor.
ipod 1- battery failure - unit unusable
ipod 2 - wouldn't start up, put new hard disc in, did all apple suggestions, didn't resolve so smashed it outside with a hammer.
therefore - ipods- built like shite.
macs - still good but, i have to admit, are not as well built as they used to be - a bit like mercedes'

the car sharing idea's been around for years, how it's still being approved i really cannot comprehend. you are penalised for being the sole person in your car?! so i can drive a 4x4 with two people in but if i have a smart car with just me in i get fined, that's a better situation?!
i'm penalised because i don't know anybody else at work who lives near me? and i have to pick them up on a morning? and we'll have to leave work at the same time?
it really is one of the most bollocks strategies in years, why not make the lane into a bus lane?
how does this encourage people to use public transport?

1. it's not the price, if a pint was £10 people would still get wasted because: they're so pissed off with life; sick of the asshole policies of the facist state; want to get 'more pissed' than their mates; actually enjoy it....
2. my girlfriend works for a major booze producer, we get it dead cheap and have cupboards full of the stuff - i don't drink a lot or get paraletic on weekdays/weekends because i can CONTROL MYSELF. i don't need bollox ideas/useless tax hikes from doctors/politicians who cannot sort the real problems out in the UK
3. maybe they need the cash to start more wars instead of listening to what the people of the UK actually want to see their taxes spent on
4. don't forget - the government get tax AND duty on booze, AND they tax a tanker of lager when it leaves the brewery AND when it's sold in a pint to you!
5. STOP TRYING TO CONTROL EVERY FOOKING THING WE DO you useless twats!!!!
