apple stores empty? where do you live?
i go past 3 regularly and they're always full and i can't get to play on the macs/ipod touch's. i do admit that a lot of kids are pratting about on the ipods though.....and the staff are the smugest i've ever met.....still got to be a better experience than a microsoft store though...

yep the standard ipod headphones are pretty poor, i opted for sony ex71 in-ear ones, not bad. you can of course alter the sound with the equalizer feature if you need more bass.
but come on, if you leave out the headphones, the file quality/compression/type rah rah rah, then most songs will sound the same on an ipod and a zune, they are just hard drives aren't they?
@dapprman - what sort of archos do you have? i've got my eyes on an archos 5 instead of ipod touch....

-ever heard of the ipod touch? the keyboard appears on the screen 'as if by magic' - go and have a look or are you too busy hiding from one of he many companies you have 'worked for' or have insider knowledge about? yep, that's why you're an anonymous coward isn't it? because of all your top secret insider info?

about a year ago the bbc were in full scaremonger mode with a panic about a swan in aberdeen with a slight cough.
this 'lethal' virus didn't seem to make it past hadrians wall though, so we're safe in our beds again.
have a quick look at the bbc 'have your say' forum and nobody gives a toss, we're actually more bothered about our taxes going up, so calm down bbc.

if not, can someone please inform us how much these things cost to charge up every other night? how much is a service, how much is tax? how much is insurance? do i have to have a wire from my house to the car running across my drive for the local chav to pull out?
they all sound great in the sales blurb, but we need hard running costs please...
i love my 360 and the games are great. it brings "cheap" hd gaming to the masses, it's a nice little (ish) box.
i did have to take it back to toysrus when the memory card flaps broke, and it never starts up first time, and it sounds like a jet engine, and you can't play all old xbox games on it (please why?) but apart from that i enjoy playing it and xbox live (updated) is superb.
