Problem is.. if a sale is made there is tax payable, there is no cause for non payment to the vat man as the sale has been made,there is no allowance for non payment and they know it they are just trying it on.
Normal process is to pay the vat and claim it back from the purchaser of the good as they probably give more than 90 days credit anyway.
This VAT rule has been present for years.. there really is no news here.
Now if this law could be changed , that would really be news

USA,Uk,Europe government buying up Banks : stop this madness.. its ok to administrate the banks, safeguard savings... but Taking over all the debt is madness.It will lead to tears all round. The root cause of all this is the management, playing with derivatives. The Sub-prime and buy to let mortgage market games that have led to this huge shortfall of cash.. Stop the salary payments to CEOs and bonus payments to dealers and management that caused this issue.. sack them all, let them fester and go on the dole, its cheaper by far

Oh I have just discovered that any data I have access to is worthless and the passwords on hundreds of post-it notes.. so if they sack me I cant even get warm place to stay free. if you have 800 passwords on 800 boxes,all of them like "LetmeinOhyesPlease1234567" only all different, how are you supposed to remember them, unless they are written down somewhere.
Although superficially, its seems like a very good idea indeed for Plastic bags to be digested in this way, what else does this bacteria breakdown?
My basic understanding of Proteobacteria lead me to believe that its possible for these bacteria to mutate and or interact with other organisms.Possibly leading to the breakdown of other nearby Plastics like the PTFE in the nearby Electric pylons and components in Garbage/Rubbish trucks that deliver the refuse. Also there is no mention of what remains after the degradation of these polymers.
Maybe this leads to worse pollution than it solves, although the sight of geese dressed in Tesco , hedgehogs in Waitrose AND Sparrows using Salisbury's Carrier bags for waterproof clothing never ceases to amuse all.
It will be a shame to see it disappear.
Stop all access to all websites because we know what's best for you and you will work all the time you are here and no stopping for anything like food or drink or god forbid " a comfort break". Whip the employee, make sure they have no fun, no friends, no enjoyment in their work. Dear God please forgive these Managers who have never seen the light and do not understand that "to have a bit of fun" makes humans 300% more efficient at their jobs. Hang on a sec.. all managers should be forced to watch Paris Hilton getting in and out of car at least once a day.. to remind them they are human too.. lets facebook it.. you never meet an efficient manager now do you. And we wouldn want to make them look bad now would we.
Dab in itself is a useful construct, albeit limited by the implementation,conglomerate controls and licences. People argued about FM for years after its introduction.. however it is now the best way to receive local radio.
Dab Stations are controlled by multiplexes which are themselves controlled by groups of conglomerate radio stations, ever searching for profitability.
Licences for dab stations are very costly making it currently economically non viable.
Why are there any commercial radio stations?
Listeners should remember that radio stations are run for the advertisers and not the listeners, what you hear is never designed to keep you listening.. its designed to earn advertising.
If you don't hear adverts on the station you are hearing.. its either the BBC or a spin-off of some other business that is making profit.
OFCOM yet again are too slow to open the spectrum to low budget broadcasting.. when will they learn that radio is not a huge money spinner and if stations were allowed to make *product*.. (because that's what you hear when you tune in) that does not have to make thousands of pounds an hour. So we can have something worth listening to where ever we are in the country..then DAB has a chance.
Maybe the threat of closing down DAB will shake them up.. there is always hope.. but there is also always OFCOM.. so maybe not.
The fact that there are still so many Unlicensed stations shows that government legislation, is still way behind modern day broadcasting requirements. Historically since 1969 people have been broadcasting music that they want to hear, from land based secret locations. Its about time in 2008 that OFCOM woke up and started offering affordable licences for small organisations that want to provide a service for their target audience, the current schemes for Analogue and Digital radio, only allow organisations with deep pockets to play at radio.
Local Radio Stations, that cover small areas often become automated or are run by volunteers, to remain on air due the expense of staff and licenses and lack of advertising revenue.
As long as it cost thousands ( sometimes millions) of pounds a year to bid in auctions for local radio licences.. pirates will remain, regardless of OFCOM or police action.
With Dab slowly loosing its broadcasters. Populating the bad with birdsong and various dross automated broadcasting. Local radio still is not available for those who want to broadcast but only have a minimal budget.
Chaining transmitters to railings on high buildings isnt working for local radio.. what will it take for the authorities to realise.. a more open system is needed.
