They have been doing this in the US , but not on all Highways. They make it just high enough so you can't see over it . It was fought because EMS said it hampers rescue efforts as they would park on the other side and hop the barrier. This was done because the traffic in the opposite lane is not blocked .
"Then there's those bogus "surcharges" with certain retailers for spending under a tenner with a credit card, or paying with an electron card, or because it's a full moon, "
According to Visa that's a no no. But I've never heard o a retailer getting slapped for that. Same thing goes for having a minimum limit to use a Visa card. Once again I'd be supervised if Visa slapped some for this unless they pissed Visa off.
My insurance gives me a $2 a month reduction for not sending out a paper bill and paying by EFT. My Gas company does the same. It's hugs savings for them not having to send paper bills getting the money faster by EFT. So was Vertizion wanting to charge more for some thing that saves them money ?
Money is the only thing that these people respect so yes they are willing to forget the hanky panky. But at the same time he committed fraud, messing with there money. To me thats even worse cause he committed a crime and you just let him off Crime does pay and it allows you to be a horny perv.
When I first saw the words AOL and investors my first thought was to check the date . Nope not April 1st . Then I realize AOL's investors are probity like there users . The don't know any better , lazy, for got that they still have AOL and don't notice the $9.99 charge or just plain ignorant to the fact there is some thing better out there .
"I think usage wise there are a lot more people using the bandwidth for illegal purposes than legal ones and that was my point, i just put it badly."
I would like to know how you came to that opinion. Most of the people that I know that use a lot of data are streaming video. I know few that do pod cast from home.
"If the ISPs stop you from downloading illegal stuff (movies, games, etc) then what justifies the amount they charge for their "Unlimited" connections? They want you to download as much as you can just as much as you do. That way they can keep charging over the odds without anyone complaining. I thought this was pretty obvious given i can't think of an awful lot over 1.5GB to download that is legal... i struggle with over 1GB tbh... atleast not on a regular basis."
I stream video and right now I'm at 180 gigs. There is a reason why Netflix has options to reduce the video feeds resolution.
Sure now just send that to him 8000 time directly and keep on changing your screen name when he blocks you and thats a death threat. Ok and make sure you are stalking him too. I never said a random comment was a death threat I said when some is stalking you and refuses to except that you refuse to talk to them .
Um thats not true. The first amends does not give you the right to be heard. She did block him and he changed screen names. In the US you can get a no contact order for some he keeps on trying to communicate with you have you made it clear that you want nothing to do with them. Oh and the first amendment has nothing to do with non government intendeds.
"She must tolerate his tweets -that are directly sent to her- because of the first amendment." If that is true the web sites would not be able to sensor web sites
Lets clear some thing up. We are not talking about some who just mad at her we are talking about a stalker. Stalkers tend to kill the person the obsess over. To .me there is a very real difference between some who is just mad at you and some who is stalking describing ways in which you can die. Then saying I wish you would kill your self.
She would block him and then he would sign up under another name
They certainly rattled Alyce Zeoli, a Buddhist leader based in Maryland. Using an ever-changing series of pseudonyms, the authorities say, Mr. Cassidy published thousands of Twitter posts about Ms. Zeoli. Some were weird horror-movie descriptions of what would befall her; others were more along these lines: “Do the world a favor and go kill yourself. P.S. Have a nice day.”
According to the F.B.I. and Ms. Zeoli’s lawyer, Mr. Cassidy also claimed to be a reincarnated Buddhist when he joined Ms. Zeoli’s organization, Kunzang Palyul Choling, in 2007. He signed up using a false name and claimed to have had lung cancer, they said. Ms. Zeoli’s organization cared for him and, briefly, even appointed him to its executive team. The relationship soured after they came to doubt his reincarnation credentials and found that his claims of cancer were false. Mr. Cassidy left. Then came the relentless tweets, they said.
How many more examples do you want ? the DOJ will go after any company.
Most of the companies that that get nailed for this is American companies ,

People don't get checked for every thing. The law is very different in the US. Lots of states bar an employer from asking have do you have a convection for marijuana that is more than three years old unless you are applying for law enforcement , working with kids or getting a medical license. We don't allow rumors to go on the background check. You can have arrest removed from you records provided you been a good boy . You can go before a judge and have criminal convictions expunged. You have a right to see you criminal record.
"If it was any good at all, Uncle Sam would be building them for himself at home "
So it has nothing to do with the fact people fear Nuclear. Or the fact that states like California has outlawed the production new nuclear power plants. Just trying to build one and you will be faced with law suits.
Here two scenarios they mostly likely mean. Reverse engineering. You take crestor analyze it then tweak enough molecules in it so you claim that it's a different drug. You have a control group, then one group taking crestor and another group taking your new drug. You want to see if your drug is as effective as crestor , but at the same time you can see how effective crestor really is .
The makers of lipotor want to prove that it's better than crestor or that crestor is a waste of time and money.
