That would be nice idea if it was not for the culture difference. Foot ball is an an easy draw for out side money. Take a look to see how much that money came from out side boosters to build that stadium. Now ask them for money to build a science lab or better library. thos some outside people will tell you to take a hike.
If the number has not been ported, the prefix will tell you that the number is a cell, the phone company that owns it and the geographical area were the number is housed. Even thought my number is ported it still comes up a cell number belonging to att and it's a San jose number.
I always that was BS. Freedom of speech does not equal freedom to be heard. I'm paying for the phone line.
if the same people kept on knocking on your door and you kept telling them to go away, you can hit them with trespassing . Why does a phone call make it different ? It's not like they are doing it on some thing publicly owned.
Some people are just thick. When I did phones support I would get the occasional person that would misdial and get mad at me. Upset that they were on hold for 7 minutes. They would say why didn't some tell me this was not company xyz instead of making me wait. Now while they were on hold the hear adverts about our products and the company name.
In 1997, Power Computing began bundling BeOS (on a CD for optional installation) with its line of PowerPC-based Macintosh clones. These systems could dual boot either the Mac OS or BeOS, with a start-up screen offering the choice.
Due to Apple's moves and the mounting debt of Be Inc., BeOS was soon ported to the Intel x86 platform with its R3 release in March 1998
