I think they are referring to the keys, not the screen?

I'm guessing the people they are targeting this phone at will be more interested in being able to make out buttons to push than what is on the screen.

I did shudder when the BBC news described him as a celebrity - he is not a celebrity, he is an inspiration - the two are very different things.

Part of me does worry whether TPTB now try to repeat the process with each new commander, as this only really works because Mr Hadfield had the personal skills to present to the world without any jingoistic nonsense. Others may not be able to pull this off....

Initial thoughts

The handset seems to function without issue. Functionality is limited, and the screen resolution is limited to displaying characters like you would see ona digital clock, but hey - £15 pounds for an unlocked handset.
