8820 on Orange

I recently took an 8820 with Orange on a business tarriff. They come with 4.3 installed... First thing i did was flash it to 4.5 via RIM, and now have access to everything Orange try to prevent you from playing with.

Did want a iPhone, but refused to pay £200 deposit for it!

Paris, because she knows her Apples from Oranges

Nokia needs a new designer

Fwiw, the iPhone 3G does infact support A2DP, apparently, according to some sites who have pulled it apart, but thats by the by.

I'm tempted, looks like a nice phone, but S60 is so old now, and looks it.2 This doesn;t really offer much more than my, now ancient, N80ie

Review site furious over McAfee SiteAdvisor 'false alert'

McAfee... Meh!

As an ex employee of the mighty McAfee Inc, it doesn't surprise me that the response smells of legal doings. SiteAdvisor is flawed, was flawed at launch, but they have to justify the $6m they paid for it some how. Hackersafe is going the same way.

McAfee... Retards tbh.

Steve, because he doesn't need McAfee

Apple blocks cheaper UK iPod sales

Short Memories

Loving the response of calling Apple, or Mr Jobs a c**t for his blocking of grey imports, but he;s not the first, and will surely not be the last. It was only two years ago that Sony did the same over sales of the PSP, didn't see anyone calling Ken Kutaragi (sp?) a c**t back then, so what makes this any different? Iirc, M$ have the same policy on software too... But then we all know that Bill Gates is a c**t anyway.

On a side note, do we win some form of award here for the number of times c**t has been used in response to a reg article?

/would grab coat, but it's been banned as a grey import :(

+ 32GB on the iPod Touch

Not overly excited about the extra 8GB on the phone, handy though with apps just around the corner. More interested in the 32GB iPod Touch though.

Meh! (w00t another first post!)

"I dont use voip. I can afford a land line =)"

Iirc, you require a land line for VoIP to work? Or are you using some form of experimental broadband delivery service we don't know about that doesn't require a standard land line?

Never worried about phishing, especially as the HMRC/MoD/BA seem to be doing a good enough job already at handing out my details ;)
