I'm all for technology and love it, but not when it becomes impractical.

Infosec experts boycott RSA conflab over alleged 'secret' NSA contract

Re: Just How Deep Does This Go ?

Nice link re fab plant..

Just hopped on over to the NSA careers (http://www.nsa.gov/careers/) page, and I love the quote:

Intelligence. It's the ability to think abstractly. Challenge the unknown. Solve the impossible. And at NSA, it's about protecting the Nation. A career at NSA offers the opportunity to work with the best, shape the course of the world, and secure your own future. Isn't it time to put your intelligence to work?

Particularly:

The world's first Windows Phone 8 hands on – what's it like?

Boris Winkle
Megaphone

I'm all over it like a cheap suit

Got no problem with my Lumia 800. Still as fast and fluid as when I first had it. Got a ton of apps on there.

WindowsPhone 7.5 is a good SOLID OS. No crashes or lockups. I Can't fault it, but, I'm definitely getting the LUMIA 920 as soon as it come out.

Double processing power

Better display (more than 720p) then 'retina' (the Nokia 920 has 332ppi, whereas iPhone4/4S has 326ppi.)

Puremotion HD+ display (use it with gloves on. Ladies can use their nails)

Superb camera

32Gb onboard

NFC

Wireless Charging

Yep.. I'm getting one.

I take it you haven't had a hands-on with the new LUMIA's then?

I took to the lumia800 straight away, and everyone who has tried mine is upgrading to one.

Can't fault the design, or the OS (winphone 7.5)

Can't wait to try the LUMIA 900 when it comes over here in a few weeks.

Re: @Homer & @Levente - Evidence ?

Well, I'm an early adopter taking the 6 month free trial coming from OLSB. The transition was quite laboured but everything went across cleanly (there were some inconsistency in the instructions / video walkthroughs, but nothing a bit of lateral thinking couldn't sort out). I also have the Nokia Lumia 800 and the office365 integration is very well implemented. I'm very happy with the product and it does everything I want it too. There are extras bundled with the product that available at my disposal, which I will look into when I get more time to.
