Google Drive Issues on Mac

What's it for?

OK so I signed up for Google Drive and to be honest, don't care what they use my data for. If they can find a use for it. However:

I've now got - 5GB Google Drive - 2x 25GB Skydrive - 50GB Box.net - 7.25GB Dropbox - 5GB MSpot - 5GB Google Music - Various photo storage/sharing sites and, apart from transferring files to my Phone & Tablet. they don't get used.

What's it all for?

The price is right

I have always said that, the mistake Apple's rivals are making is in their pricing and that is why those alternatives have not taken off.

If someone is going to spend £350 - £400 on a tablet, they are most likely to go for the common option that is tried and tested (and is already used by their friends and colleagues).

However, price that alternative at £200 - £250 and people will be much more likely to 'Take The Risk' and buck the trend.

Saying that, there is the possibility that, once Android(ish) tablets become more common and acceptable due to the Kindle offering, people may look at the more shiny and pricey alternative with more favorably.

From what I can tell from a quick look at their website, NSE make their money by hosting Usenet for others. I would bet that the majority of their customers are Usenet Resellers who sell to Joe Public wanting to download those very binaries that they must now remove.

I imagine some big trucks moving masses of servers cross border to another country etc etc etc

I've had this for a while and as my first smartphone I am very pleased with it.

Although I'm sure the comments complaining that it's only Android 1.5 are valid, but for someone's first experience, don't make any difference.

The camera (and LED Flash) is very good for what I want i.e. in the pub etc and if I want anything better I would take my dedicated compact.

So, the only complaint above that I would agree with is that, yes, the home button is too sensitive and easy to brush accidentally, but you do get used to and avoid it after a while.

For anyone wanting a cheap route into the world of Android I would recommend this phone!

What's the problem

I am really suprised that The Reg has published this review. Let's face it, it's A GAME it's not a learn to play guitar package.

My son, (15, in his own band, and a pretty good guitarist) has just finished it with a very good score (but he is very good at games too).

I am fairly good playing FPS games and can't play a musical instrument to save my life and am SH*T at this game.

I think the reviewer was more concerned with his failings than describing the game or it's features.

So let's have better reviews or we'll set the BOFH on you.

I bet the PFY would be very good at it!
