A shotgun has an effective kill range of a soft target of about 300 feet (100 yards) horizontal, 1/3 of that vertical due to gravity.
Drones are not soft targets, they are designed to fly at high altitudes AND are designed to withstand small arms fire. Even if one were 100ft from the ground you would have trouble causing crippling damage to one with a shotgun.
FYI, Deer Trail is not by any means "backwoods", its a rich fart community where people pay big bucks for land to make them fell like they are living in the mountains, when in fact they barely qualify for the foothills.
Unless they're towing a semi-trailer sized battery pack or plan on swapping the pack out every 50 miles, they don't have a chance.
The Tesla barely got 25 miles when Clarkson pushed it hard. Even after having "invested over $5bn in battery technology" in the Leaf it only gets 75 miles of normal driving.
At about 3,300 miles total distance, that is 44-132 pit stops, one every 11-32 minutes or 3--9 laps!
They are actually mocking themselves; trying to figure a way to make their product copy somebody elses as close as possible without directly violating copyright/trademark laws or paying for the right to use the name or likeness.

There is no cure. People are who they are. Ex: People that like to drive fast will always drive fast no matter how many speeding tickets they get, the "good" ones will simply learn how to recognize trap areas and better evade detection.
Any "treatment" you give them will just be BS'd through and nothing will change except how they go about venting their desires.
There is no way to avoid the internet today, let alone in 6 years.
This isn't 1998, pre-paid smart phones and laptops can be easily hidden and used where/when ever is convenient for him.
More than half the students around him likely have a smart phone. All it takes is "hey, can I borrow that a minute" and he is on the internet anywhere at any time.

Why does it still have a chin? If they are looking to improve the design, making it a bit thicker and deleting the chin would be a FAR better choice!
The Mini was a downgrade by deleting the GPU.
The 13" MBP is a poor deal with only dual-core options and no GPU. Might as well save $400 and get the Air.
The iPad Mini is a joke with it's low-res screen. The iPhone 5 has more pixel height in it's 4" screen.
No news on the 2.5 year old MacPro.
Overall an extremely disappointing event with no hardware I'd consider buying.
For ultrabook sales to "compound", there must first be ultrabooks to buy.
Apple's Macbook Air is not an ultrabook, everyone else is just trying their best to copy it without directly saying so. Just like the iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad.
The problem isn't really a matter of functionality, it's a matter of PayPal and eBay being greedy and unethical in their business practices.
When eBay stopped allowing money orders as an acceptable form of payment and forced PayPal or local pickup as the only options for individuals, I stopped using eBay.
First they said we will cause "global warming" with CO2. That was proven to be incorrect.
Now they are backpedaling to the 70's and again saying we will case an "ice age" with CO2.
"Climatologists", please make up your mind which method you want to scare people into giving you money.
