I wonder if there's any places left in the CIA black-ops prisons in the middle east now that the yanks are pulling out...? Eye for an eye and all that, plus they probly pretty willing to sing, cos we already know they're scum and they know that too, unlike a fighter doing it for the love of his country and/or god, misguided though he may be.

If an employee leaves for a rival company (one assumes the employee is specialised in a certain area, thus will seek a place with a similar company) for better pay and/or conditions... Isn't that like a customer buying a rival's product or service because it is better and/or cheaper?
Well HP, is it or isnt it? Clearly it is.

I believe that just being politely epicly smug would have been a better tact, but you must consider that the police often invite this sort of treatment. Even I know this from experience, and I'm white FFS!

See Confessions of an undercover cop. (recent documentry) On joining a peaceful protest he was shown so much simple manners by the police that blood poured out of his head.

May I humbly recommend Ink (2009)

It is one of my trio of all-time favourite films. An independent masterpiece made on a shoestring in Colorado by a husband and wife team. Shot in HD, then spent 14 months in post with plenty of rotoscoping, to pump up the visials to make this a real work of art, with a soundtrack to match.
But most of all it is the story, which reveals its depth and sophistication through repeated viewings. Intelligent, original, and beautiful.
The creators deliberately released it for p2p download, and there is a good article about that on the site. I downloaded, loved and purchased. You'll likely do the same.
Yeah, I'm a fanboi for this film. I have the signed Blu-Ray. :)
OFFICIAL: Last Western Black rhino snuffs it
I saw this coming.
Not cos I'm a smartarse but because it was reported on a documentry featuring White Rhinos (Last Chance To See with Stephen Fry) that since none of the Black Rhinos had been spotted for a while, the preparations were under way to have it declared oficially extinct.

Modern players, YMMV
I burned a variety of tracks from FLAC to use in a listening test when I decided to get new speakers. Burn verefied just fine.
Once at the Hi-Fi shop both a £500 Arcam and a £300 Cambridge Audio player were having none of it. I had to resort to a pressed Gnarles Barkley's St Elsewhere that the shop had knocking about.
Back home my 15 year old £120 Technics CD player didn't bat an eyelid and played the disk perfectly.
As I said though YMMV as I'm just one bloke recounting one experience.

*Yawn* quick recap of the basics for you.
Is a bloke who paints your lounge an artist? No.
Purchase of material outside of the sound data which has no _material_ value. T-shirts, cool album packaging, etc. That stuff can't be sent over internets, which is the delivery format this story and my post relate to. I could've been clearer on that point, I admit.
Do only Folk groups do gigs? No.
Do I download films too? Damn right. As a carer I dont have the money to fork out for a DVD only to watch it a few times maximum. Do I buy films? Damn right, if it is a genuine work of art. http://www.doubleedgefilms.com Ink deluxe blu-ray package was my last purchase. There is also a good article about piracy on that site.

I'm newly teetotal (again, after a couple of weeks relapse) and now I don't get to feel smugly superior and blackmail people after all? The only amusement I'll have is hearing their livers exploding from time to time!
More seriously, if this were readily available it would be a good way to thin the naturally irresponsible from society (through their livers exploding) kinda like we do with cars for teenagers.

Brits not keen on 3D, reveals poll
I've not properly seen 3D cinema due to being a bit far back in the Avatar queue thus getting a seat outside the "sweet spot", that being due to me and a mate smoking some aesthetically sensitising cigarettes in the car park immediately prior. Looked very promising though, at least at IMAX scale.
From what I've seen though, I wouldnt piss on a 3D telly if it was on 3D fire. I'll give the tech another decade or so to reach puberty.
