Apple iMac 27in

Iain Waddingham
Happy

I am a Marmite fan!

Got my Core i7 3.4GHz, 12GB (I added 8GB on delivery) with 2GB HD6970 card a few weeks back and it is amazing, I looked around to see what else I could get with such a good display and spec, Dell in a tower format with seperate hi-res 27" display wanted £210 more than buying the iMac and HP, well they didn't have anything as close to the Dell but even then was starting to work out £100+ more with lower CPU and Graphics!

Really happy with my purchase and can't wait for Thunderbolt peripherals to add an external SSD and get full speed from it! With bandwidth to spare!

Apple breaks jailbreakers' hearts with iPhone 3GS patch

FAIL

No iTouch 8GB 3G MC (untethered) but Mac = Whoo!

Slight fail on this article, the MC 8GB 3Gen iPod Touch cannot be jailbroken on the Windows version and there is now a Mac version that CAN JB the aforementioned but if you need to turn it off and back on you will need to reapply the Blackra1n patch - hopefully the upcoming GreenPois0n software will resolve this issue! just my 2c

Make up your mind MS!

So first MS cannot wait to offend it's users: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/12/03/santa_filth_outrage/

But now they will go to ridiculous lengths to stop anything they deem inappropriate!

Think I will stick with my PS3 anyway, that way if Sony blocked my name (if it was remotely offensive to any companies) I would not have been paying for it - which I think would make the Live service a more customised service and would try to keep their customers happy!

Original Post

Hi,

I am the person that kicked this over to the El Reg team who (thank you btw) kindly posted my complaint and am glad to see you have all had your 2'cents worth to say on the matter.

Thanks for all the support!

Iain

P.S. I am now a Mac user - this happened before this incident, in fact shortly after Vista was released ;-)
