I have to say I wouldn't have a problem with a tourist taking pictures of my little girl on the tube. Even if he was a peadophile. How is havig a picture of my daughter on the train going to affect her in anyway? If he can get hs rocks off to it then thats creepy, but he hasn't hurt her in anyway. 99.9% of people who take pictures are not peadophiles. It's about time people in this country realised that.

I was at a wedding just the other week and took photos of my girl playing with other kids, I didn't know them but it made a nice picture.

The agument isn't about if downloading copyrighted material is illegal or not, we all know it is. The argument is if making links to places where you can download copyrighted material is. This court ruling has said it is, therefore according to this interpretation google are just as guilty. as are yahoo and most other search engines.

also have a back door in their routers, that allows the firmware to be updated remotely, it doesn't need to know the admin password, I know cause I've changed mine but still got updated. whats to say some low paid tech guy didn't "lose" the access to this backdoor? I'm pretty sure other ISP's probably do the same sort of thing with their routers too. set any password you want it doesn't mean they can't get in.

but then all these routers run Linux which we all know is so secure there should be no problem.........

It isn't wrong to not understand how or why something works. If my car breaks down someone who knows what they are doing fixes it, same with my boiler, anything really. I don't feel the need to learn everything to do something.

not as heavily granted, but they are. You want to buy a newish phone contract free then you are looking at a couple of hundred quid, the same phone on contract is free but you pay for it on the (24) monthly fees. Payg phone costs more but still not the same as sim free. thats why they are locked to the network.

When that nice new shiny phone is "free" they should look at why. buy the phone off contract, get a good sim only deal and see how much you spend over the next 2 years. I bet it's less to buy the phone up front.

That said the sim only "deals" seem to be going up in price as well now they are becoming more popular.
