Anyone looked at the movie releases on DVD / Electronic formats for the period of the analysis? Without knowing the studios involved in the study it could be a release of say.. Oh, I don't know, a movie kids and teens would go berserk for which influenced the figures, I mean it's not as if twilight, breaking dawn part 1 was released during the post shutdown study which may have influenced things, or MI: Ghost Protocol, perhaps War Horse... Those would be completely coincidental and couldn't influence the numbers at all, it MUST be the result of shutting down a file host.
Could work, if we have daniel craig's dire acting, the weak plot line that (along with the concept that bond 21 was set in current day yet started the career of a 00 agent who has been going since the 60s) was Casino Royale, add DC's request for a homosexual encounter (No Mr Bond, I expect you to bend over and take it like a man) then I fail to see how amy whiteline could make a quantum of somnescence any worse than it would appear to be predestined to be.
Even the Aston Martin cars don't seem to want to be in this movie...
Let's take for example my current ADSL line, Phone call audio is very quiet, the NTE5 is about 15 years old, as is the drop cable, there are no extensions connected, only a Linksys WAG200G router, I am running at 59dB downstream attenuation which shows I should be capable of getting 2.2mbit on IPstream or 2.4mbit ADSL2+, fair enough, I did get 2mbit for 2 weeks, then it dropped to 608kbit sync speed, with no change to the attenuation, changing router, microfilter, phone cord, no change, my ISP looked into it and determined that there may be a fault on the line, but as the line is provided by BT I should take it up with them. I took it up with BT who say that the line meets minimum spec and isn't faulty, If I want an engineer, no problem - 120 for them to turn up on the doorstep.
I know of people who use BT as an ISP and BT will bend over backwards to help, yet the moment BT aren't the sole provider on the line they don't want to know.
BT hold onto their monopoly through being uncooperative to people who choose alternative ISPs, making it difficult to obtain levels of service that should be expected (when the person you are shouting down the phone to simply so they can hear you, tells you that you are VERY quiet, but that there is no fault on the line, you get to believe that they may, in fact, be incorrect)
BT hold a monopoly by simply making it impossible to get problems resolved simply by passing the buck to the ISP, who promptly tell you it's BT's problem.
Ofcom should implement a ruling that fault resolution should be managed properly by the line provider (usually BT) and specify a minimum level of service as a percentage of the 'up to' line speed.
Let's take for example a university graduate, one who has accumulated 4 years of text books but no longer has a use for say, 100 of them, these books sell new for 70 - 80 each, assume 50% value for 2nd hand sales, so that's 4000 they could net, they also want to sell their old car as their new job comes with one, this may have a value of 2000.
This would make them a power seller, and force them to register as a business. No problem you may think. However, their new job involves marketing and sales strategies and their contract includes a clause which specifically prohibits them from operating a business while in the employ of the company. Bang, by trying to recycle goods they no longer have a use for, and pay off some of their student debt they can be dismissed from the company for running a 'business' simply because ebay demand that powersellers become businesses.
If they were to sell the same items via loot or another classified ad system, they would not in any way, shape, or form be classed as a business, why should ebay be any different?
Paris? because only she would be dumb enough to think of this idea for ebay. Or conceive of a way to stop people from saying 'this buyer kept me waiting for 2 weeks for payment by saying 'the check is in the post, haven't you received it yet?' before leaving negative feedback for me not shipping the goods'
For me the only person who has been a worse bond than craig was George Lazenby, I don't know how they are justifying the bond movies with DC in them. Casino royale was supposed to be where bond became a 00 agent, yet it had the current cast in it, and 2006 technology, yet it was supposed to take place prior to 1962's Dr No. It just doesn't work.
Plus don't forget DC's request that his next bond film feature full frontal bond nudity and a homosexual scene, the latter of which isn't really what bond is known for.
Perhaps one of the villains in Quantum of Solace will be called 'Ivor biggun' with respect to DC's request?
The only thing that could make it worse would be if they had paris hilton as some sort of evil supergenius... (for those looking for the paris aspect)
