iWeb isn't tied into mobile me. It is a very rudimentary site builder that can publish to mobile me or be FTP'd to any other provider.
There are lots of service providers out there who can provide the space (and probably for a lot cheaper).
I'm sure everyone who uses iWeb on Mobile me can do the 5 minutes work required sometime before the end of June next year.
I really would like to know where the idea that iTunes is a DRM heavy environment?
The second that members of the PPMA (Pirate Paranoid Music Assoc.) allowed it DRM was gone from iTunes music. I have both ripped CD's and iTunes downloaded music and neither my iPod nor iTunes knows the difference.
There may be some DRM on downloaded videos as I don't download video using iTunes I wouldn't know. I do know that any DVDs ripped using Handbrake work no problems at all.
There is no reason, other then some musings from some winer from Adobe, that ebooks will be any different.
Just a reminder, Microsoft is the king of incompatible DRM, not Apple (See Zune/Plays for Sure).
P.S. I am still boycotting Amazon.ca because after 3 years they still couldn't be bothered to work out an MP3 download deal with the Canadian PPMA.
Kindle is currently only available to buy in the United States of America.
The Kindle is not available from Amazon.ca. ironically, lots of Kindle accessories are available, but not the device itself.
One of the 2 reasons I am currently boycotting Amazon.ca. The other is the lack of MP3 downloads as per Amazon.com.
