Bit Torrent and waiting???

"For now, going to BitTorrent and waiting until the weekend to download the software, after the rush will surely have passed, seem the most sensible options."

The advantage of bit torrent is that it's faster when more people are downloading, so why wait until after the rush.

MP accuses BBC chief of illegally championing Microsoft

James Bryant

why???

why do the bbc have to provide for everyone, people complain that they can't get the service because they don't use windows, why not complain that you don't get the service because you don't have broadband or because you don't have computer, or complain that you can't watch TV because you don't own a television. nobody has yet managed to suggest a service, with suitable rights management, not that DRM was ever a good idea, or one that works.

@ac - nitpicking

re: Absolute temperatures are measured in "Kelvin", never in "degrees Kelvin".

i apologize for my slight slip, though never isn't accurate, degrees kelvin was dropped to kelvin in 1968.

@ neil

using kelvin scale is an even worse idea, you'd be asking people to compare 265 and 267 degrees they would't touch the cards for fear of getting burned.

or even worse, to be accurate 265.15 and 267.15 degrees. you'd cause mass hysteria with regards to global warming as well.
