Because most people are not rational, particularly when it comes to flying and fear, or indeed relinquishing any kind of control to a robot! I would put money on it that even if a robot was doing the flying, the general public would insist on there being a trained pilot sitting in the cabin just to keep an eye on things!

It doesn't matter how statistically safe a robot piloted plane, train or car could be people are going to be a bit wary of it because if they cannot drive themselves, they would rather delegate the responsibility to another member of Homo sapiens rather than a collection of wires.

That's just one of the irrational animal based tribal responses which makes us human! Maybe it will not be always and until the end of the universe/human race - but it'll be a bloody long time till people get over it!

Perhaps aliens are simply waging a war against the tyranny of domestic appliances which have been fingered by aliens as the dominant lifeform?

Served by a biological slave race, who are brainwashed and instructed through its television priesthood, the machines have spread accross the globe and even into space to spread terror and pop tarts across the cosmos!

Europe grows more (and more) GM crops

Were GM crops in the study?

Is there anything to say that GM crops cannot be grown in an organic way? After all much of the point of GM crops is that they can be pest resistant and so do not need the pesticide sprays that intensive farming requires.

So, is there any evidence pointing to a health benefit of Normal crops grown organically and what happens if a GM grop was grown organically?

Or is the recent widespread reporting of this study, along with the sombre declaration of how many Hectares of GM crops are being grown in Europe, just another way of jumping on the bandwagon?

I think what they are saying is that because of the moon is tidally locked to Saturn the side facing away from Saturn is covered in dark dust from the outer moons which was falling in towards Saturn.

This dust changes the natural absorption of heat of the moon causing the darker side to lose more water through evaporation to the lighter more reflective and cooler side. This in turn further increases the absorption of the dark side leading to more heat and evaporation etc etc and so on.

So in fact; dust, heat and evaporation, not; fear, anger and hate leads to the dark side...what a let down.
