Phorm?
Wouldn't surprise me if they're punting their nasty stuff to paranoid governments. Also wouldn't surprise me if our lot took it on.

I wouldn't trust any of those bastards to run a bath, never mind the country. If there's anyone out there who honestly thinks Cameron is going to be a better bet than Brown, they are hopelessly naive.
As for the economic shite we've been in recently, that's unrestricted capitalism for you.
Just don't start griping when the Tories start to screw you over in ways you never even thought of.
This should convince anyone with a shred of hope that politicians of any party are a bunch of spineless, money grabbing, power hungry careerists.
Anyone who believes Cameron's Clowns will be better than Brown's Buffoons is naive beyond belief.
As one of the many innocents who has their DNA on file I'm extremely pissed off. Not in the least bit surprised, though.
Back in the day when I had a BT landline, I moved house and changed my number. Had ex-directory because I was hacked off with telemarketing calls. Yes, it was way back when. Anyhow, some numpty at BT decided to call me trying to sell stuff. Not pleased, I told 'em not to call. "But you're a BT customer" says they. "Not for much fucking longer" says I.
Believe it or not, they actually knocked 50 quid off me bill for that.
I'm 50 and I can hear the damn things. I have tinnitus, too. I wondered what the damn annoying set me teeth on edge noise was (the missis had gone out) until I found out a few places round here have 'em.
At the other end of the scale, I believe there's a low frequency sound which can make people shit themselves and another one which will make a human skull explode. There's got to be some potential there.
Anyone remember Kate Bush's "Experiment IV"?
Whether or not you agree these scanners are necessary, practical, morally acceptable, properly used, you must all realize that - given the government's track record - the laws will be rewritten in their favour, should a legal challenge be mounted.
Me, I think they're wrong in so many ways. Lazy, invasive, impractical and too open to abuse. Probably a lot more reasons too but that's all I can think of right now.
Provided they edit out the endless references to "enzyme bonded concrete" and put in a chase sequence at the end that's worth the time and trouble.
Hamilton's books have some great ideas but suffer because he doesn't know when to stop writing.
As for Dune, I'll reserve judgement. I don't blame Lynch for what happened to his version. I gather there was a lot of studio interference.
And yes, the best version ever is in my head.
As an innocent man who has his DNA held by the bastards in blue, I'm really hacked off there's one rule for them and one rule for us. I always knew that was the case but it really sticks in my craw when we have our noses rubbed in it like this.
It should be obvious to anyone by now the Police are totally out of control. They don't do a good job of preventing crime, catching criminals or keeping the streets safe, so what purpose do they serve, other than to line their own pockets and have a great time at our expense?
Support your local copper. With a stout rope.
Dear God that's like asking Fred West to babysit.
Not that any of the other lying, self serving, expenses fiddling, power hungy set of bastards would be any better.
Perhaps we should shoot all politicians and start again.
Not anon because I'm past caring.
I was recently the defendent in a not particularly pleasant and rather complex case. The Jury were as average a cross section of people as you could imagine but they used sense and found me Not Guilty.
I have absolutely no faith in the Police and CPS et all but the public in this instance were bang on.
