I have greater trust in Apple devices than have had in any of the Android devices I have owned or managed. The features mentioned in the article may not ground-breaking but they will still be welcome.

The iPhone 6 was first released in 2014 so it has been getting patched since then as far as I am aware.

If you have an Android device you are lucking if you get patches after the first year of ownership.

In recent versions of iOS the user can save to the local storage, sync as necessary and have access to the files they need.

The problem I have always had with Android Tablets that as soon as the next release comes out, the device becomes sluggish. On top of that, Android features have become a real pain in the arse.

Perhaps they do have the features already, but the Apple implementations tend to be far better.

It is a case of wishful thinking if people think he is going to be aloud to get off lightly.

He has to be made an example of for others that take it upon themselves to play fast and loose with matters of national security - especially in view of on-going developments around the world.

WARNING- Data loss

Some users are reporting data loss while using explore to move files - there are accounts of files no longer appearing in the source or target folders after the move appeared to have been completed. These reports have been coming in since the patches were applied but there is no confirmed direct connection as of yet.

Third-Party software

There is a broader problem with the most recent patch releases - there are clashes with other third-party packages such as Symantec AV and AMD Display drivers .

All rather convenient as far as Microsoft is concerned, but given recent behaviour it is just the right incentive to move to alternate platforms.

Partly because those that have speced purchasing decisions typically get freebies from the Sales teams - it is not an even playing field, though these days Corporate standards are a little tighter.

Most of those being affected in this wave of shoddy workmanship are on older kit and builds, and may well have decided to move to other platforms as part of the replacement planning.

That would be one approach if the affected systems were bootable.

I can not speak for the US, but there is less demand for library services no that internet access is more widely available.
