My wife is an engineer at AWS for 10 years. She still has problems, grasping the enormity of what is the AWS cloud when systems get dis large in this complex problems will happen and yes, the industry will forgive them and move on lessons will be learned as they are in every outage, but the insinuation that all the experts have left AWS is absolutely absurd.
I know it’s cool to bash Intel these days, and certainly they need it. They missed AMD creeping on them, GPU market, AI, etc. just assumed retaining x86 dominance was enough, which is why it was strange alarm bells didn’t go off with AMD.
I really hope they get some large 14a customers.
Anyway, the biggest factor Intel has going for it is the geopolitical factor. The US simply needs a pure US owned fabrication company. Intel will never disappear.
I just can’t imagine their stock stays tanked in 2026.
This will take me a bit of time to do, but I am going to cancel my subscription to proton. I am baffled by company whose soul existence is based on privacy is suing Apple, who also is using the App Store for privacy and security no matter what anyone else says. I can only surmise that proton is simply wanting to get a larger revenue grab from their apps. It has nothing to do with privacy, so disappointed from proton.
