That C/C++ Iceberg is actualy a continent, Captain!
C/C++ are going nowhere. There is too much code already out there and tested (haha), and too many people already know them well enough. The alternatives are only marginally better and will cost too much to switch. Plus, there is always a new language. The C++ releases need to slow down, though the addition of good memory safety would be great.
