Not one for conspiracy theories but, Statnett in Norway had an unused transformer attacked a week or so ago causing a 60 tonne oil leak - will be interesting to find out what the cause of this fire was. Other than closing down Heathrow the effect on air travel will be enormous given all the diverted and cancelled flights

It’s a good point but you still effectively have to comply with Proposition 65 if you want to sell into the US. But that is more like having a special law in France that means you can’t sell to the EU - the UK being on its own carries mich less weight

This is SO true. Stuff should just work, for the intended user. If it doesn’t, it’s been badly designed and made and users will rightly switch to products that do ‘just work’

Carrying incomplete sprints forward like this is a bit like an Olympic event which starts as the 100m , the becomes the 200m , the 400m , 4 x 400m etc . If it was just one event this may be manageable but often the whole project starts operating like this
