So I have a2020 BMW z4
It has Sign recognition and driver assistance including lane change and sensors all over the car...
On certain roads it tells me the road is a 100Mph speed limit, it has braked to avoid an accident with the shadow of a tree, it has tried to turn into the ditch because the road only had the edge lines and no central one...
Auto cruise has speed up to the speed it thinks it should be depending traffic signs and GPS its also not seen signs when coming out of road works meaning it thinks 40mph on the motorway is correct (thanks car, I'm now committing an offense driving too slow on a motorway)....
Things that have caused. the system to fail have been heavy rain, fog, ice etc..... other failures have cause the car to swerve into a building because it thought a pedestrian was in the way.....
Surfice to say the system has been turned off and if I could remove it altogether I would before It kills me or another person as the auto steering can be rather strong to over ride at times..
