DoorDash scam used fake drivers, phantom deliveries to bilk $2.59M

harrys Bronze badge

"Bottom" line

food gets delivered to your door....

did the person who cooked it wash their hands after doing a number 2?

no guarantee's.... but at least in "older times" you actually went to the takeaway to order your food and see the level of hygiene

so .... eat some food delivered to your door by a random stranger, cooked at some random location in god knows what conditions and quality of ingredients

when at home, cook your own u "lazy bottoms"

PS proof that idiocracy has arrived.... klana partnering with doordash, hahahaha

Would be fascinating to see the numbers here, as it will give a true indication of what percentage of americans are ...

1) desperately poor

2) unbelievably stupid

3) more sadly, a combination of the above

my gut feeling ... very high :)

The better you are the job, after the initial crazy sort out the mess period, thats when you you have loads of time on your hands (because ur good)

thats the time to stop makng any changes and make yourself look busier and use it to build up your own customer base as a sole trader, build upto limited etc,....

bottom line always start of in business "on the side whilst you still have a paye income paying the bills"

ps can even be a bit naughty and use your paye job to beta test new stuff/ideas out before offering it as a service to one of your customers ... the latter will expect things to work fully from day one :)

Sounds like a perfect oppurtunity to begin the discussion on potentially moving away from ms and reskilling with alternative toolsets/solutions with healthier profit margins to boot

Either way. its office 365 so its not your problem, just send the relevant ms cockup info to customers and aspouse equal frustration, your off the hook :)

Been using proxmox for years

If you know your way around linux then its def the way to go, less need these days as you can now do virtually everything in the gui

Have to admit though, if i was recommending a direct replacement, xcpng is a more natural fit replacing vmware, especially for larger installs

The lack of 24/7 proxmox support is also a problem that xcpng has

Another biggie is thats its easier to break proxmox as its just running on top of vanilla debian whereas xcpng has a bespoke customised smaller kernel

Either would do, why, they are both open source

i usually walk away from anything closed source, never trust closed source never will

the only people who benefit from closed source, shareholders and executives

trust has to be earned, only open source allows that to happen, with closed source you HAVE to believe whatever comes out of the sales guys mouth, no questions asked

PS NEVER played the stock market, if you have then you cant really attack broadcom, if u do its just hypocritical
