This is incorrect. Both the AMD MI300 and the Intel Gaudi 3 are massively powerful GPUs. What missing currently is an alternative to NVLink and NVSwitch, but those are in the works.

On what basis do you state that ROCm is a failure? I have users using ROCm on MI200s and haven't heard any complaints in a while. Admittedly, it was a rocky start though.
