"not clear" is an understatement. The Orange blob's spraying of shite in all directions is the plan. Some of it will stick, most won't. Doesn't matter anyway, he'll achieve his main goal of disruption... all the people potentially affected by this are consuming their resources deciphering the ramblings then coming up with a plan to counter, because you can't risk ignoring it. Meanwhile Blobby can go about whatever he's doing in the background.
Blobby and his crew having an opinion of semis? FFS, it's way beyond their combined IQ level. You just can't pop up a fab like a four seasons landscaping warehouse. Here's to Europe with U.K. taking a continued technical lead over the Muppet farm.
"how not to destroy the planet?" I think we already know that and we don't need an Nvidia GPUd data centre to figure that one out.
Be far more interesting to see what % of these data centres are used for actual good... curing cancer for example. And what % goes towards the bullshit stuff... porn, AI generated ads, AI generated click bait rabbit holes, etc.
That train keeps coming though, and it's called Jevon's paradox. Have a look at Dr Peter Garraghan's talk on the matter, basically if we make systems more efficient we just fill it up or build more systems.
The whole video is good but the reference is around the 20 minute mark...

The really depressing thing about this is that not all energy consumed is going for a greater good or scientific endeavor. A significant chunk has to be going towards the same-old thing, popping ads up in your face to make you buy something you really don't need.
