Ah, crap. Yup, got the email. In French. Merde! I live in a country and province with French and English as official languages! Good thing (!?) I understand French well enough to get the gist of what Dell has done to me.

Not painful.

Performance: not screaming fast; fast enough for what I do with it.

I’ve had it installed on a desktop computer. Very usable as an everyday computer. I haven’t gotten to replacing that computer after it gave the ghost, but I’m not missing it with the Pi 4 running as an adequate replacement.

Agreed for OpenBSD on a Pi 4, happily running OpenBSD 7.4 here.

But since the article is about Pi 5…

Pi5? Too adventurous for me. Not supported for 7.4, but I expect people with the right skills are working on it in current.
