Re: 90s classic cars
Well that goes for just about any Ferrari/Lamborghini/McLaren part. They're ment to be insanely expensive. For some reason that's part of the appeal

TBF I misremembered the story. The gentleman in question had a few drinks (and had a MASSIVE drinking problem but that's another story... Seriously this guy shouldn't have ever held the position he did) then went in and pulled all the modules/cables/cable tags. Then went up to the Captain and screamed that he quit. The gentleman was then escorted off and his second/replacement was tasked with finding out if he'd done anything before announcing his impromptu retirement.
Clippy. Risen from the dead and fused with abomination that was Cortana. He's come for your Windows 11 AND NOW, He's coming for your servers.
Clippy has already taken over Microsoft, and now your organizations are next...
I mean seriously. "Accidentally" installed on a server? This is why auto-update is turned off and I have to manually install patches. Thanks Microsoft!
If Google is terrified of the AWU I'll eat my hat. They're an annoying fly at best and when they pull stunts like this (getting members fired because there are regulations surrounding strikes) it just makes them look impotent.
Compare AWU to an actual functional Union like the Teamsters (preferably WITHOUT Hoffa) or the Mariners Unions. They actually get things done and have largely done so since inception.
Enterprise has it managed by GPOs so it's not that bad. Still annoying.
Unfortunately if you're turning it off for non-Enterprise managed machines it means going into the registry (can't remember exactly where) and creating two keys to shut the thing off. Doesn't seem to break Office yet.
