White House confirms 245% tariff on some Chinese imports not a typo

Re: What would you do?

Two points, taxation is not the problem but it's the spending. Second point 20 plus years ago tax revenue was split evenly between business and the general population income tax today it's 20% business and 80% personal income tax. If we bumped business back up another 30%, we would have a balanced budget practically

Re: What would you do?

Trump did exactly the right thing at the right time, he shocked the system and got everyone talking about what is fair and balanced. Ask pelosi what the word fair means. That's from but Democrat side of your point. The Dems did nothing for all the years where manufacturing was crumbling. Now that Trump is doing something is when you're complaining?

I have been an importer for many years from China and can tell you that they have killed us manufacturing. Not because it wasn't fair but because their wages are much lower and they are much more willing to take lower profits. Had one time they were 200 and 45 pencil manufacturers in the US today I believe there are just two.

If we don't do something today there will be nothing manufactured in the US in 10 years

My parents first color tv was a Panasonic

I think it worked for 25 years and had what's called a real clicker remote. No need to buy anything new until Miami vice came out in stereo and I bought a Sony for 950 bucks, I believe it was 27 in with speakers that were really big on both sides, we enjoyed it tremendously. Next big purchase was about 20 years later and I bought a sonyy 40-in TV for $4,000. Last year I bought a 43 inch for $119 at Walmart twice as good and probably will last just as long

They ain't Microsoft office

First they have to come up with some truly unique features that no one else has. Gee may be stream movies without any commercials. Ha ha
