these researchers need day jobs
this is like that xkcd where instead of cracking the password on the ipad, you just hit the guy with the wrench until he tells you the password?

The scheduler is great and looks to me to be more responsive than other distros.
I got touch input out of the box and also screen flipping worked on my laptop.
But also s76-power is very well done and provides great power settings for laptops. On my Asus model I also got a battery stop option in the cosmic GUI!-- as in to stop at 80percent for battery saving. And this isn't s76 laptop.
The combination of power and scheduler allows for long battery life!
On laptops that run open firmware compatible BIOS, the older pop would allow you to update firmware from within the OS!
it's technically to get the boost of the fat earth spinning. not hitting stuff is secondary. but also the coast launch helps this. in russia they launch from near moscow. there are no technical reasons for it other than they don't have a southern spaceport that they trust. and it doesn't hurt so bad to do the polar launches. that they like to do.
so it's natural the tesla would be under pressure if they can't grow with their current cars. but i think already the ct is pushing avg price up. actually it was pushing avg price up for the whole market again because only tesla has real scale.
he's just an indian who hasn't gotten all the space lingo down yet. yes it seems unprofessional but the poster you are replying to has literally no idea wtf he's talking about.
this isn't a supersonic ramjet, this is a micro-jet. there is no ram physics here. no high speed required. it is using the low density at that altitude and electricity to accelerate the gas in the duct. idk how badly informed you must be to confuse this micro-propulsion with a supersonic combusting ramjet. one wonders what else in his comment history is poorly thought out.
they are already recycling now today electric vehicle batteries.
only the misinformed have a problem with disposal of batteries. in my family we have a decade old tesla built battery that has nearly same performance as new after 80k miles.
again, reprocessing is already happening now, you just don't know about it.
feels good repeating fossil industry bs doesn't it? add in some techno-troglodyte bs and you're a well rounded luddite!
you need to start big and expensive because you can't build a new car company selling 20k vehicles to teenagers. america has made 2 new car companies. what of europe? microlino? what does europe know about starting a new company from scratch? those croats are making electric supercar.
when vw starts scout brand in america, they won't be starting with a compact vehicle. because they need profits.
i love taking a jab at apple as much as the next guy but when efb tech came into existence, or rather for all time, ipad was the only real alternative. it was common enough, the screen size is the same, they're very durable and nothing in the tablet form factor existed as a viable alternative (or even does today). it's the tablet size that they wanted for this and it was simply easier to coalesce the few companies that made these software into targeting just apple tablet form factor. but even today, you think some samsung tablet would replace ipad? the worthwhile ones with good screens are more expensive than apple and you have to deal with the whole android/samsung/etc fragmentation.
the paris flight was flown into the ground by an incompetent or deranged pilot. that wasn't situational awareness fail it was an idiot in command and his friends in the cockpit didn't realize until too late. feel free to read the transcripts. a normal pilot in that situation wouldn't have blocked the controls and flown into the sea.
the only hubris was speculator value. you're watching this unwind. it is bumpy up and down. tesla's business is sound and they aren't missing any beats. the price cuts were all normalizing from the price hike of the pandemic. don't cry for them. i am not. they are strong. nobody else is expanding in this way. please let's cheer north america's premier manufacturer rather than denigrate it. it's difficult enough building massive capital goods in first world countries, i.e. without relying on china/mexico that this should be lauded rather than sitting here and fretting about the arguably ridiculous one man show marketing strategy. that's all i'm trying to convey.
carry on. i do like you all otherwise.
