Interesting diversion- look up ‘life tables’ for risk of dying and survival by age (ONS in the UK). Once you hit 90 years, your ‘life expectancy’ is always 1 yearuntil you’re aged over 100 or more (but the chance of getting another year goes down steadily)

As someone who knows a thing or two about these, not everyone has an arse, but every arse has a hole.

Most often they get taken out, but it’s possible never to born with one- I know research was done on transplants, and quite a few patients had muscle flaps formed to function in an arse-like way.

A few years ago work stopped in my hospital because they realised all the copper to the generators had been stolen… probably weeks had passed before they found out but it put a certain pressure on finishing those operations on time…
