ChatGPT has mastered the confidence trick, and that's a terrible look for AI

You give humans far too much credit. Every day I see tons of outright mistakes and lies in journalism made by journalists who don’t see their own biases.

Does chatGPT make mistakes? Sure. At least with coding when it makes mistakes you can run it and see what result it spits out. That is the great thing about coding as you can actually test the code to see if it works.

The thing that I find most fascinating is the rate of improvement and how many good answers it currently spits out compared to the last version released. These mistakes will become less and less for chat gpt4,5 and 6. Then we will see how many people with desk jobs will still be left.

This is how commerce works… when a retailer like Apple takes a bigger cut, the price is higher at that store, why would it be any different online? If you buy through Twitter directly you can still use all the same twitter iOS apps and it costs less money.

This should be criminally prosecuted as theft. Those that run the company and made this policy should serve jail time. Until this happens, these companies will keep doing it because it pays to steal.

Twitter gives up fight against COVID-19 misinformation

On Covid Misinformation

So what is the Covid misinformation? It has changed so much and was gotten so wrong by those making the rules. First masks don’t help, then they do. Then it wasn’t released in a lab accident. Now it probably was. Then it won’t spread if you get the vaccine, now the vaccine doesn’t prevent spread.

All of these were official lines from the CDC that were later debunked by the supposed misinformation that was propagated online. The problem is official sources can lie just like unofficial sources. The only way to eventually find the truth on complicated topics is to allow ideas to compete. While it may be messy, it’s necessary. Otherwise we will become like China and Russia holding up blank pieces of papers protesting idiotic policies because there is no opposing viewpoint allowed. I will take the bad that comes with free speech over their horrible system, where a couple of leaders decide on wars and horrible policies.
