Nobody is forcing you to try them all. There is nothing to take a break from.
If you are happy with what you've got, then good: stay with it.
Dragonfly BSD isn't one of them. It isn't a distribution. It isn't Linux at all, and it doesn't contain any Linux code in its kernel or core parts.
It is its own independent OS, related to FreeBSD but with nearly 20 years of separate development going in different directions and trying to find efficient ways to exploit modern high-end PC hardware.
Some people are not so happy with Linux as you. Some want something else. Choice is good, and the more wide the choice, the more different some alternatives are, the better that is.
