That 27 million was NOT just Russian losses, that number also included Ukrainian, Polish and others. Yes Russian losses were the majority in that figure, at almost 14 million, but almost 7 million out of that 27, was Ukrainian losses. These would be drawn from the east of the country, the people who now formed the LPR/DPR/Crimea regions, I.e. not the Kiev Baderites.
