Union rejects latest BT pay offer, calls for ballot on industrial action

Make or break

This is a big moment for the union and BT.

If BT get away with shafting us this time, then it will create a perfect storm where the unions lose a lot of members (and therefore power) while at the same time BT will be emboldened and think they can pay us fuck all in future knowing they'll get away with it.

I reckon BT are aware of how important this is, I'm not sure the CWU are. They delete comments criticising them and generally seem a bit out of their depth. They led us up the garden path with the #CountMeIn campaign then squandered all that momentum. A lot of members are already disillusioned.

The future is not bright.
