... the device the tech industry has used to get us to keep forking out for the latest tech, to fund their RnD and their livelihood.
But actually, the RaspberryPi marketers have it right... all that we really need is Sufficiency : enough capability to run the apps we want to use, on a lightweight OS. Sure, there'll be occasions when we need some real grunt to do something more than the document or spreadsheet, surfing or e-mailing, but for most of the time, most people don't need it.
Of course that's not what manufacturers want to hear at all. Still... there'll always be gamers, I guess.
