It sounds like you want to use a proxy server to reach the internet, not routing. v6 won't stop you doing that. Even if you route, it has privacy extensions, which masks the number of devices you have.

You can easily set up a private network which a random stranger on the internet can't access. Routers will typically do that by default, so it's no harder than just plugging them in and using them.

You'll be replacing your hardware at some point or another. Just make sure that the replacements support v6 when you do, and you'll get v6 support along with the upgrade that you were paying for anyway.

It seems like most of your issues aren't really an issue.

It's interesting that you think v6 is actively hostile to NAT. The only thing v6 does against NAT is to give you enough address space to not need to use it. Apparently you won't use NAT unless forced into doing so...? But that's inconsistent with the rest of your post.
