1. My MD's office has been trying for years to find a speech-to-text converter with a high enough accuracy rate to allow the doctors, PAs, and nurses to automate the conversion of notes, spoken into a recorder, to printed text. They're still looking...
2. How about the sudden increase in typos you're seeing in on-line tech (and other) venues? These 'typos' are cased by the same mechanism as #1. The 'authors' are too lazy to work at a keyboard, any more. The 'typos' are caused by a speech-to-text converter; the 'authors' can't be bothered to go back and clean up the mess.
