Just saying: There's no backdoor. Everything is done through the front door. Your phone obviously needs to be able to access your photos, or you couldn't see them. If you upload photos to Apple's cloud server, then normally the photos would be encrypted and then sent. What's planned is that the photos are checked, and then it's encrypted and sent and Apple remembers that there's a naughty photo. No backdoor for Apple, but front door. No access for anyone else.
