And that is the crux of all these services. At the point a human needs to interface with the data (images, words or sounds) it has to be in a human useable format and that means decrypted. Just like all these video conferencing tools that have to support telephone dial-in. At the point the data stream needs to talk to the telephone system it has to be decrypted, there is no other way. Now it may be encrypted again if IP telephone or mobiles are being used but at some point it has to be in clear.
