I already know of a deliberate miscarriage of justice

- Physical security guy helps a female escapee of a Middle East family settle in the UK

- A few weeks later, a break in in the office. Nothing is missing

- A few days afterwards, police gets a tip on child pornography

- Office is raided, office Mac (used by everyone) is taken

- Technical "expert" (outsourced contractor who has only ever touched Windows) finds a pic (yes, one) in an iTunes backup

- Police only sees statistics, so chap gets convicted for child porn. From a tech perspective there was so much reasonable doubt it should not have even ade it to court (I reviewed the files and am about to hand this off to some human rights people who may be able to act).

He lost his livelihood, and could not even see his own kid without being accompanied as a result of a revenge action, eagerly assisted by the local constabulary who could not spell IT without having to look it up.

Apple is about to offer mechanisms to make that a lot easier. Well done.
