But in his secret heart of hearts, Cook knows the best proposal is for Google to completely take over Linux development. For the good of the community. For the good of mankind. For the future of the Universe.

Why do I wince any time Google starts critiquing projects that are exterior to Google? It always feels creepy, like some old guy in a van offering candy to little kids.
