How do you define matters? It can matter to 1 person/company, or 1000. Non of which may have the ability to pick it up. Pretty much the same position as proprietary. Now if it matters to millions yes it is likely someone will pick it up, but your blanket claim is, as you so elegantly phrased the title, Bullshit.
