Is that why the proprietary UNIX kernels, the Linux kernel, the *BSD kernels, Mach/NeXTSTEP/iOS are all written[*] in C?
I think even Redmond's Blob is written in C.
I look forward to testing your new, modern kernel written in Python and Rust.

[*] Yes, with some assembler for certain CPU/ISA specific things that can't be written in C.
