Not 100% of the time, no.
But it massively helps on occasion - humans can see a person approaching a pedestrian crossing and predict a sudden 90 degree turn to cross the road.
Humans can see a person at the side of the road trying to flag down a taxi and predict it doing a u-turn in front of you.
Humans can see a car in front fish-tailing round a bend, and predict black ice
And the most obvious one: humans realise that certain objects simply don't disappear into thin air, or other 'obvious' anomalies that AI simply don't care about.
