Sure levels will be different spending on the water volume, but the software listed levels in terms of ppm not volume.
The problem with the software seems to be that it allows levels of 11,100 ppm. Is there really water out there so acidic it could ever need that much? Perhaps so, but it would always be getting a lot of lye to get to a desired pH level.
It sure seems like the software should refuse to allow anything like a 100x change. Maybe allow a small divergence like from 100 ppm to 200 ppm, but require special access or password for changes beyond that - or better yet using some type of hardware interlock to unblock larger changes.
