Oh look, someone has decided to be offended and play the victim card. Sorry mate, it's not about you. I had reddish hair until it went grey and that common phrase redheaded stepchild doesn't bother me in the slightest as its more of a harmless piss take along the lines of calling someone goofy or big ears. Its nothing like the denigrating assumption of inferiority implied with negative words and phrases used against coloured people. Perhaps go cuddle the therapy teddy in a safe space if it upsets you so much.
