Hopefully he'll have a hard time running his rallies from jail after all the court cases for tax fraud, campaign finance violations and so forth are allowed to move forward. Even if he's able to pardon himself (or induce Pence to pardon him after resigning the day before Biden takes over) the state of New York has enough on him and his kids to to put them away after appeals are exhausted well before 2024 primaries begin.
