At some point, democratic opposition gives way to revolution. Unfortunately, there is no "you are now at war" sign to say when it is "okay" to kill the opposition.
Doxxing is and should be universally illegal. But is a useful tool in war, and it is expected that at some point along the continuum, it will be used. Just like killing people. How you feel about any particular incident depends on which side you are on, and where you believe the line should be regarding this particular tactic.
Personally, when you have police shooting bullets into crowds, I would consider doxxing to be on the lower end of the acceptable responses.
